Achieved planning permission for a four-bedroom house despite being largely surrounded by open fields with the need to respect the neighbouring property.
The Project
The planning permission to replace two derelict commercial stores with this new property was granted in May 2010. Sensitive design, detailing and negotiation with the Planning Department were essential. The planning application process also required careful understanding and responses to the concerns of neighbours, and improvements to access and servicing facilities through liaison with the highway authorities. We were also retained to secure Building Bye-Law permission. The resulting development is a superb family home, including a large garden and parking, on a site that affords outstanding views.
