This house will be finished externally with a mix of granite and timber cladding, with a natural slate roof. ... See MoreSee Less

“We have experienced 2 years of unsuccessful attempts by other practices to achieve additional accommodation to meet our family needs. Our home's location in the Coastal National Park was always the stumbling block. We therefore engaged MSPlanning Ltd to take over. We are really please to be able to share with you that a planning permit has finally been issued to the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust for their new CHARITY SHOP in the grounds of JERSEY ZOO notwithstanding it was a departure from the Island Plan.

Les Dickie, CEO of the Trust explained "Michael Stein of MSPlanning Ltd came in at the 11th hour and made the difference in getting the planning application for our new recycling shop across the line. The proposal was contrary to the Island Plan and, without his advice, expertise and contribution, I doubt it would have been approved.”

It was because Michael recognised the international importance of the work carried out by the Trust that the Planning Committee on this basis alone was able to make a decision that was contrary to the Island Plan. It is now one of the very few cases where such a departure from the Island Plan has been allowed.
