Michael Stein

Michael established MS Planning Ltd in 2005 and continues to run the business. He is a chartered planner with 28 years of professional experience behind him. 13 of those years were spent with the States of Jersey Planning Department, culminating in his senior role as Principal Planner. Michael therefore has a full understanding of how the Jersey planning system works.

Now, as a planning consultant with an excellent record of success, Michael gives professional advice on all planning matters, however large or small, advising clients on how best to secure planning permission or resolve planning disputes. Michael’s reputation, and that of the practice, is based on giving honest advice which, whilst sometimes disappointing, avoids the client entering into costly and abortive work. Michael also represents clients at Planning Appeals and Public Inquiries and has mostly enjoyed successful outcomes.
