The Result
Working to previously approved planning drawings, we were asked to achieve building control approval which was granted in late 2008. Special consideration also had to be given to comply with the disabled regulations which can prove difficult when dealing with an existing structure.
The Project
This dilapidated rendered granite built, three-bedroom semi-detached house needed modernisation and internal alterations along with an extension to the gable to achieve a four-bedroom family home. A crucial part of the design was to convert the existing roof space and create a snug area where views over St Ouens bay can be enjoyed.
