The Result
Successfully re-modelled an existing home and designed extensions at both ground and first floor to provide substantially improved living accommodation and an additional bedroom. Included detailed contemporary external elements such as windows, doors and rainwater goods. Also secured building bye-law approval for new garaging. The result is a modern, spacious family home almost unrecognisable from the original.
The Project
The project demonstrates how a successful refurbishment and adaptation of an existing house can be achieved when the wholesale re-development of a property is not required. The core of the house was tired and in need of updating. It was retained and adapted to suit the client’s requirements for a modern home
Focused interventions to Les Piece has resulted in a contemporary home that opens out to the garden from the kitchen and dining areas and provides expansive views from the new master bedroom and its balcony. A new garage has also been added to the site.
