Secured planning permission for two new houses to replace stables on a sensitive site within the Green Zone where there’s strong opposition to any development. This development has since been completed to a high standard and a further extension has been granted planning consent for two additional new homes, further enhancing the appearance of the area.
The proposal delivered the client’s property requirements whilst balancing this with the Planning Department’s need to enhance the character of the area. Careful consideration of design, siting and scale was employed, along with a detailed understanding of planning department policies to secure the planning approval despite the presumption against development in the Green Zone.
