Commissioned to re-design a previously faltering planning application. Planning and building control approval was awarded in 2009 for a 5,000 sq ft, six-bedroom home and treble garage. Subsequently retained to oversee the project build for this contemporary property.
This coastal site originally consisted of two small dwellings that had passed their useful life. The aim was to design a modern contemporary building maximising the wonderful views over Grouville Bay. Due to the exposed nature of the site, a high standard of external finishes was used including anodized aluminium double-glazed windows to comply with the stringent planning conditions.
The only practice in Jersey to bring designers, technicians, planners and historic building advisors under one roof.
